lib64ncurses5 software package provides shared libraries for terminal handling (64-bit), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib64ncurses5
lib64ncurses5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib64ncurses5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib64ncurses5 *
